Born and raised in Jaleshwor , Mahottari district of Madhesh Province; I have been through thick and thins in the life and seen friends and families walking through rough patches. I started my career as a volunteer in Reiyukai in 1990 for various social cause and joined Mercantile Company to start the professional career and served for 14 years. Prior to starting my professional career, I was a regional level, national level and international sportsperson. I played football in the regional level, hockey at the national level through an army club and also played SAFF
Championship in 2010 in Bangladesh. I am still involved in the Cricket Umpire Association of Nepal. These experiences made me realize how vulnerable humans are how uncertain our business and life are. Thus, this realization helped me to germinate the interest to support people to live a risk-adjusted life.
I started working in the field of insurance through MetLife as a freelancer. In 2018 and 2019, I have only reached to 50 lakhs value and received VIP award which was huge at that time. In the year of 2020, I completely got engaged in MetLife. It was very challenging time for me as there was a COVID 19 pandemic even in such a situation I counselled for insurance by wearing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). I was declared a top field representative of that year by doing one crore annual premium. In 2020, I received an award titled VIP award as I insured annual premium of 50 lakhs in a year. In 2018 and 2019, I established myself as top agent/field representative as honored with Elite trophy in 2020 and 2021 by securing 1 crore annual payment. I was also awarded first position for
Highest Producing Field Representative in 2020,2021 and 2022.
Furthermore, I have insured 1 crore 70 lakhs annual premium in 2022 which is the highest and rare insurance a male staff has ever accomplished in Nepal. In order to diversify my own clients and reach larger clients beyond Kathmandu valley, I am delivering the services online. I have been insuring at least 10 clients with average 10 million insurance premium since 2018 continuously. I am also an Associate Life Advisor for MetLife as well. Starting as an Insurance Consultant, gradually I became a Financial Advisor and held a Senior Financial Advisor position. I am currently working as an executive financial advisor and along with this I am also an associate life advisor. From an agent to currently an executive financial advisor, I have grown professionally and created a pool of 1500 clients. This success is a trust of valuable client and the outcome of world class service that I offer as an agent.
I feel happy to meet new people and change the negative perspective and perception of Nepalese towards
insurance. Along with this, I have been able to create my own identity in the MetLife and that gives me a sense of accomplishment. I have developed and nurtured my own brand in the insurance network of Nepal. This work has made me patient and also taught me the importance of continuous follow-up and counselling to change the attitude of the people. It has also boosted my confidence and helped me become more familiar with new people and get acquainted with my regular clients. I get satisfied when my clients are insured and assured of their risk-adjusted life.
